In order, here are the last four books I ordered from Amazon (most recent to least).
- Capturing the Devil by Kerry Maniscalco – murder mysteries are one of my favorite sub genres. Pretty much all of the TV I watch revolves around crime solving. (I’ve seen all 900+ episodes of Forensic Files on Netflix if that explains my obsession.) Anyway, a YA series featuring some of the most famous murders in history was right up my alley. I always say, in another life, I’d have been a great detective.
- Umbertouched by Livia Blackburne – I enjoyed the first book in this series, Rosemarked, but I don’t like my series to mismatch. I have Rosemarked in paperback so I had to order Umbertouched the same way. I have to wait until July to read it, but it’s worth the perfection.
- War of the Bastards by Andrew Shvarts – I have the other two books in this series and I haven’t read them yet. This one looked interesting and I love a preorder price guarantee. Amazon never lets me down.
- Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim – I’ve seen this book described as Project Runway meets The Hunger Games. How could I not get it? Again, this one will have to wait until July as it was also a preorder.
I hope you like this new segment. I’m going to do more in the “Fantastic Four” series this week. (Yes, I’m a big Marvel fan 😉.)
